Pacific Seafood BBQ House
8/240, Victoria Street,
Vic 3121

Best roast duck, roast pork and roast meats in Richmond!! Went to restaurant late in the evening, as most roast goodies were sold out, ordered other dishes instead. Dishes ordered were just ok, not extraordinarily good and slightly pricy. Will be back only for the roast goodies!!

Spinach with Salted Egg & Century Egg $21.00
A nice unique taste combination - Salty egg, alkaline century egg and spinach!

Dried Scallop, Chicken Mince, Egg Tofu Hot Pot  $27.00
A gluey dish with few strands of dried scallop and lots of chicken mince. Dried scallop is the hero of this dish. The quality intense dried scallop flavour was missing!!

A very popular restaurant in Box Hill. Love the food. Always top quality and freshness.
Unfortunately dining experience on Saturday night was a huge letdown. The rice vermicelli in both Bu'n with Char-grilled Lemongrass Chicken and Singapore Noodle were in broken little pieces. Not quality cooking. Left restaurant feeling very disappointed. Hope kitchen was just having a bad night, an off day!!

Mini Prawn Spring Roll $10.90
Nice spring rolls with just the right combination of fresh lettuce, herbs, rice vermicelli and sauce. Very much an Indochine signature dish.

Bu'n with Char-grilled Lemongrass Chicken $10.50
Rice vermicelli in broken little pieces. Dish was low in salad too. Not happy :(

Singapore Noodle $12.40
Taste ok but broken rice vermicelli :(

Nice deco. It's an Asian, Malaysian and Thai restaurant. The dinning experience from the 4 dishes ordered for the evening was hugely disappointing. Non-conventional style cooking. Will not be back.

Mixed vegetables with tofu and cashews $16.90
A very ordinary dish.

Char Kway Teow $13.90
Lack the intense high heat wok fried dextrinized starch flavour. Another very ordinary dish!

Nai Yau Butter Prawns $28.90
An ok dish. Where are the milk flakes??

Pad Thai $15.90
Pad Thai?? This is an extremely over simplified Pad Thai :(
